★ ARTIST BIOS ★

JAEWYNN

A multi dimensional queer womxn of color, and a native to the Mission District of San Francisco, Jaewynn serves nothing but essence. Unfoldingher life experiences like a 90s/2000s mixtape. A rose that grew from the concrete, Jaewynn transforms her life experiences and ascends from them like a Phoenix rising. Jaewynn has the unique capability of merging storytelling, queer narratives and femxle empowerment in a personal way that end up resonating with people of all backgrounds. Through her deep tonality, metaphors and cadence you can feel the strength, courage and the pain she has endured, while painting you a picture of power & freedom from the chains that bind us.

TRAGIK

TRAGIK began her musical journey over 15 years ago as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and DJ making electronic and dance music. She has performed all over the US and South America. Teaming up with grammy nominated producer, Stylo, she was able to bend genres and create a world of her own.
Having spent the majority of the last decade working as a creative director, photographer, artist, and dj, specializing in music videos and documentary work, Tragik has captured developing and established artists with indie and major record labels. Her innovative and unique style, with the ability to create something from nothing through a surreal lens has her set apart from other directors and has since established a style of her own. Her work as a director alone has garnered over 30 million views on YouTube. With an eye for viral and beautifully produced content, she started her own creative label, INVERTED, emphasizing the importance of female collective, diversity & inclusion. In 2012, she formed a viral “girl punk band” with Grimes and Kreayshawn called L$D. The same year she released one of her first singles, “CLUB KING” with the video featuring Grimes, Kreayshawn, Brooke Candy, Jesse Saint John, Gabe of Uzi, and more.
Her music has been featured on MTV, Fader, Vice and Complex.

EASY BAKE COVEN

Gay bar gold, divas and disco is what Easy Bake is all about! Fresh on the Vancouver DJ scene, Easy Bake Coven has already made her mark gracing the stages of some of Vancouver’s raddest queer parties such as Man Up, Beers and Queers and Le hangover held at Eastside Studios. Easy Bake plays those fun-loving nostalgic tunes you can sing and dance to making her an absolute crowd favourite.

SKYLAR LOVE

Inspired by underground rave parties they attended in the 90’s Sky picked up their first set of turntables at the age of 15. Since then, they’ve witnessed the evolution of DJing and electronic music for over a decade and bring in the elements of old school and new school to their DJ sets.

Influenced by Deep House, Bass music and Hiphop, this renegade DJ has love for all genres which is revealed through their original mashups and remixes. Skylar is a strong advocate on breaking barriers for queer DJs and has traveled all over headlining in major cities including Berlin, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Honolulu, Atlanta, San Francisco and Oakland. Skylar shows versatility through imaginative style and sound over live performances and recorded DJ sets. The mission is to take you on a musical journey of different beats, rhythms and sounds through the medium of freestyle mixing.

LOLA PHYNE

VanCity bred up and coming producer Lola Phyne has been busy captivating local and international audiences for years. Known for her ever evolving style, no one can doubt that the common theme is deep, earth-quaking, booty shaking bass. Lola’s bouncy, high energy sets are packed with familiar melodies, unique beats and unsuspecting basslines that will get anybody groovin’.

DJ KOTA

DJ Kota has been on the scene in Vancouver for 2 years co-producing and DJing at Canada’s first Trans club night, Coconutz and Bananas. They’re Trans, Mohawk & Proud, and will have you L I V I N G on the dance floor to a blend of hip-hop, trap, reggaeton and r&b beats.

KG FRESH

KG Fresh is an up-and-coming Queer van city DJ who’s been making moves and getting noticed . From club nights to boat cruises to festivals KG fresh is here to represent diversity connection and the freedom to express our selfs on the dance floor. You can expect her musical stylings to incorporate her Jamaican roots as well as her love for hip-hop culture.. 💛
