BABES TURNS 3 NEXT MONTH!
3 years! Wow! What an incredible journey to share with all of you! Words cannot express how thankful and humbled we are for your continued love and support.
As a community we have created something beautiful. Babes is a place to nurture new talent and to inspire new connections. We are proud to witness and be a part of showcasing local and international Queer artists on their journey. Vancouver’s Queer scene continues to expand in every direction and that calls for a celebration.
This year we have a lot of exciting shows lined up for ya, including Queer comedy, live MC’s, dance crews and of course, more bands!!!
To kick off our 3rd year, super babe and performance artist AUTOKRAT is set to take the Babes stage!
My musical process has been the medicine I’ve needed to find light through darkness and has guided me to a place where I feeling connected and ready to share this journey with y’all.
With a backpack full of new tracks and an open heart I can’t wait to take the Babes on babes stage and rock with you.
I will also be starting to release tracks this fall.

Please remember: CONSENT IS MANDATORY. Leave your oppressive & non inclusive behaviour at the door. The Buddy System will be in effect. Our buddies will be wearing bright neon shirts. They will have bottled water handy for you, run interference if someone is receiving unwanted attention and generally serve as go-to support should any problems or questions arise.
While we cannot encourage the use of recreational drugs, we understand that folks have a variety of ways they like to party. We will have someone trained to administer NARCAN (available at this event) in the event of an opiate overdose.
Babes On Babes donates a portion of our proceeds from each event to Queer services, we are always looking for new avenues to donate to. Feel free to email us your ideas and suggestions.

Fresh on the Vancouver DJ scene, Easy Bake Coven has already made her mark gracing the stages of some of Vancouver’s raddest queer parties such as Man Up, Beers and Queers and Le hangover held at Eastside Studios. Easy Bake plays those fun-loving nostalgic tunes you can sing and dance to making her an absolute crowd favourite.

Adia has been writing her own song lyrics since the age of 8 and grew up listening to 60s rock and roll and classic country songs. Her current djing style is EDM mixed with hip hop and of course some rock classics 😉
★ SKYLAR LOVE
Inspired by underground rave parties they attended in the 90’s Sky picked up their first set of turntables at the age of 15. Since then, they’ve witnessed the evolution of DJing and electronic music for over a decade and bring in the elements of old school and new school to their DJ sets.
Influenced by Deep House, Bass music and Hiphop, this renegade DJ has love for all genres which is revealed through their original mashups and remixes. Skylar is a strong advocate on breaking barriers for queer DJs and has traveled all over headlining in major cities including Berlin, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Las Vegas, Honolulu, Atlanta, San Francisco and Oakland. Skylar shows versatility through imaginative style and sound over live performances and recorded DJ sets. The mission is to take you on a musical journey of different beats, rhythms and sounds through the medium of freestyle mixing.
